On November 21, 2024, the Nashville MTA Board approved and awarded American Eagle with a Sole Source contract. This contract value is not to exceed $350,000.00.
In addition, the Agency will enter into a new sole contract for three (3) years for Web Services with American Eagle.
Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority (hereinafter “MTA,” d/b/a WeGo Public Transit) intends to enter into a contract with Americaneagle.com for the Website Re-Design including the following objectives :
1. Continue to conduct assessments of organizational needs and stakeholder input to develop a website that accommodates institutional(s) needs and streamlines functionality.
2. Maintain a creative, intuitive, and user-friendly experience for WeGo customers across varied devices.
3. Maintain easy and efficient access to top tasks.
4. Maintain reducing customer service and transaction costs by providing self-service tools for customers and information seekers
5. Maintain and simplify the wayfinding and fare-purchasing process through new visual elements, maps, or possible new technologies
6. Maintain effective, compelling communications for breaking news, real-time alerts, and promotional programs
Justification for Sole-Source Procurement:
Due to the use of AmericanEagle.com equipment and services, which are currently installed on our website system, changing over to another service(s) would be significantly cost-prohibitive. In addition, there are no reasons foreseen, that show a need to change the services.
